Important Community Reminders

We would like to share a few important community reminders:

Mecklenburg County Recycling Tips & Requirements:

• All recyclables should be placed loose in the bin, not bagged.
• Acceptable items include paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, glass containers, and aluminum cans.
• Not accepted: Items such as plastic bags, Styrofoam, and food-contaminated materials.

Construction Debris & Bulk Trash Disposal:

Contractors: This is a reminder that all contractors must remove their construction debris and not leave it at the community dumpsters. Dumpsters are for regular household trash only.

Residents: If you need to dispose of bulky items, please schedule a bulk pickup before placing items at the dumpster. Bulk pickup occurs every Tuesday, but the city will not collect items unless a request has been submitted.
